Sculptural floor lamp by Zaha Hadid made of polished polyurethane. It features direct downward LED lighting and indirect upward halogen lighting. It is controlled via two separate touch dimmers on the lamp body. The floor lamp was produced by Artemide until 2017 in black and white. The organic-looking Genesy floor lamp is a statement, an outstanding work by Zaha Hadid that reflects her preference for flowing, curved forms and futuristic design. Personally, the floor lamp reminds me of the naturalistic entrance lighting of the Paris metro by Hector Guimard at the turn of the century.
