Stunning set of two vintage palm tree lamps by Hans Kögl, Germany. These design icons bring so much atmosphere and warmth. They tell a story of Hollywood Regency high class ambiance, 1930s Hollywood movies, tropical resorts, cocktails and good company. These lamps also creates a lot of atmosphere in other interior styles for example; an organic, beachhouse or contemporary eclectic design interior. Each palm tree lamp by Hans Kögl is handcrafted and thus unique. These specimen is beautifully shaped and has beautiful patina on the gilded leaves, trunk and base. They have a very warm goldplated color. They are in original condition and complete. These lamps are increasingly difficult to find, especially in this good condition. It has 3 fittings for an E27 light bulb per lamp. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
