Disinterested in novelty, Jasper Morrison prefers to add fresh perspective to common forms. His Glo-Ball Floor Lamp (1998) does just that, infusing the ubiquitous fixture with a quiet glamor. The opaline glass diffuser is acid-etched, giving the light a soft, luminous quality.
