This iconic high-quality floor light was manufactured in West-Germany during the 1960s by Kinkeldey. It features an elegant height-adjustable stem and base of welded steel wire with a chromed finish. The height-adjustable stem carries a total of 4 sockets including an uplight. These lights can be switched in different combinations with three pull switches and a foot switch on the cable. The hand-crafted batik lampshade is covered with quality fabric, showing an abstract floral decor in warm color tones. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
