A 1950s Italian three-arm floor lamp in blackened metal, produced in the distinctive spirit of Stilnovo. Each conical arm culminates in a torchiere-style shade of fluted opaline glass, delicately banded in polished brass. The textured black metal caps are perforated with a constellation of star-shaped motifsa poetic nod to midcentury fascination with the cosmos. The composition is both sculptural and refined: three slender stems rising from a circular base, held in elegant tension by a central brass collar. When illuminated, it casts a soft, diffused glow. Condition: In great vintage condition, with a patinated finish to the brass. Minor discoloration and surface scuffs to the black metal. This floor lamp has been professionally rewired for U.S. use by our team of restorationists with a new cord and plug. Accepts three E12 light bulbs.
