Design duo Iskos Berlin created the floor lamp with a textile shade that not only filters the light beautifully, but also references traditional knitting techniques. Fine yet durable, the mesh fabric comes to life through CNC knitting, resulting in a 3D pattern with virtually zero waste. The spherical shade has a wonderful structure created by wrapping the textile over a steel frame. Above and below, powder-coated aluminum rings hold the two components together. The lightweight lamp features three slender legs that raise the light source higher to illuminate spaces at eye-level. Thanks to the knitted fabric shade, this floor lamp produces a soft ambient light.
