This high quality German floor light from the 1980s is rather a piece of avant-garde light and steel art. The impressive sculptural piece comes from the experimental and artistic German design scene of the 1980s, whose epicenter at the time was West-Berlin. It was created as a prototype / unique piece by an unknown German artist. Its radical brutalist design consists of a heavy steel tube with an integrated reflector at its upper end, all resting on a round steel plate that functions as a base. The vertical steel tube features a small minimalist switch, which is itself staged here as an iconic piece of artistic design. Additional Dimensions - Tube Diameter: 16 cm - Base Diameter: 32 cm European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
