Rare mid century standing lamp from the German manufacturer Hesse lights. This floor lamp convinces with its minimalist elegance. The filigree steel frame is painted in black and forms one foot with two angled bars at the bottom. It forms a bracket upwards that serves as a handle. The core of the lamp is a metal pane that carries the frame and diffuser screen. The slightly conical umbrella is formed from a kind of structured plastic (Lystra). It is simply flush within the window. The peaked material is translucent and shows a striking structure. In materiality and color, the frame and screen form a wonderful contrast. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
