The Gica Contra Floor Lamp is a limited edition floor lamp from the Cristofaroluce collection, designed as a tribute to the artist for his son, Riccardo. A combination of minimalist design and craftsmanship, this lamp stands out for its balance between light and shadow, transforming lighting into an emotional and artistic experience. Materials and Production Processes 1.5 mm aluminum structure, worked with variable grain abrasive brushes to obtain a smooth surface ready for painting. Artisanal painting with matt finish and sandblasted texture, carried out in several phases to guarantee a sophisticated and long-lasting aesthetic effect. White stiplex diffuser, cut to size for each lamp to ensure uniform diffusion of light. Base with cork layer, which guarantees stability and protection of the surfaces on which it is positioned. Sources of Inspiration The concept of Gica Contra was born from the artist's vision of "dominating the shadows", a principle inspired by the great master Caravaggio, who used light to give depth to emotions. Each lamp is designed to be more than a simple furnishing object: it is an element that invites reflection, the play between light and darkness, stimulating an intimate and personal atmosphere. Designer: Tommaso Cristofaro (Italy) Production: Handmade in Romania, combining Italian craftsmanship with a meticulous production process. Signed by Maker, European Plug (up to 250V).
