Panthella Floor Lamp

Designed in 1971 by Verner Panton, whose work is represented in MoMA’s collection, the Panthella Floor Lamp emits a soft and comfortable glare-free light. This modern Danish design has an attractive domed shade that reflects light downwards, and the white opal acrylic material ensures that the majority of light is spread over a wide area of your space. Panton’s concept for this lamp was to create both a foot and shade that served as light reflectors. The Panthella Floor Lamp stands 51.4” tall, with a 19.7”-wide shade, and its elegantly slender stand that seems to sprout from the base’s organic form.
