A pure and perfect geometric piece, the Pascal Floor Lamp from Oluce elevates the atmosphere of the space with a familiar and welcoming touch. Designed by Vico Magistretti in 1983, this piece exemplifies his design philosophy of functional, yet aesthetically-pleasing shapes. A pair of slim and smooth metal cones are positioned together as if one balancing on the other, enhancing its appeal through repetition. Not simply an aesthetic choice, the positioning of the shades allows for the light to interact in a unique way. The upper shade sends it out into the room while it’s material reflects the light of the lower shade, sending it downward and indirect for the ideal ambient touch.
