A beautiful “Pfeifenstopfer” floor lamp designed by Ernest Igl, manufactured by Hillebrand in Germany in the 1950s. This fantastic lamp is made of high quality brass with a round white metal foot and two coloured metal shades. The shade are finished with round perforations that add nicely to the elegant style of the piece and allows a nice light to shine through, adding a wonderful appeal to the lamp when lit. One shade is lacquered in yellow, the other in grey/blue, a really nice combination. The brass finish of the shade makes it fit seamlessly with the rest of the design. All together this is a rare and impressive find of mid-century lighting that will greatly elevate any interior! The lamp remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard). The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
