Like natural phenomena, the light and warmth of the Phenomena Floor Lamp from Bomma is so pleasurable it feels like a fleeting moment. Creator Dechem Studio’s work explores the many personalities of glass. The studio showcases the beauty of the materials at play with basic geometry. Standing atop a low-profile base, a cylindrical metal column awes with long reflections on its surface. The hand-blown glass shade on top varies on close inspection. Visually, the generous globe form appears ready to pop like a floating bubble. Diffused light billows inside the glass and exits as a magical aura.
