The Standing lamp arises from blowtorch-burned pieces of flat metal, objects from an improvised outcome of spontaneous making. Without molds, detailed drawings, or defined ideas, Joost and his team improvise with great speed and action. By cutting thick steel plates roughly with a torch, welding them together, and hand-painting in black and white, the Standing lamp becomes a strong character. European Plug (up to 250V).
