Solid machined brass in polished unlacquered finish, hand-dyed and waxed leather wrapped wood, soft unstructured pivoting leather shade, hand-dyed braided cotton cord. All material finishes are living finishes: they will change and patina for the better with time and use. Light does not pass through leather shade; overall effect is a compact ambient lighting that can be directed any way and works well as a reading light next to chairs and sofas.Individually hand assembled and stamped with a unique serial number. Slight variations in color, size and shape are to be expected. Recommended bulb “60 Watt equivalent G18-1/2 White” included, max 60 watt bulb. Overall 19"H x 8-1/4"D x 6"W, Shade diameter 4" x 4"H.Polished unlacquered brass components can be rebrightened over time if desired using Brasso and a soft cloth (careful not to touch the leather); to regain leather sheen, simply buff by hand with a soft dry cloth (no chemicals or liquids) .
