Solid machined brass in Matte Blackened Brass, hand-dyed and waxed leather wrapped wood, soft unstructured pivoting leather shade, hand-dyed braided cotton cord. "Matte Blackened Brass" is a heavily textured, roughened finish with tool markings and edge-wearing to invoke the patina of an antique machine. Please compare the example photos carefully before ordering. All material finishes are living finishes: they will change and patina for the better with time and use. Light does not pass through leather shade; overall effect is a compact ambient lighting that can be directed any way and works well as a reading light next to a chair or sofa.Individually hand assembled and stamped with a unique serial number. Slight variations in color, size and shape are to be expected. Recommended bulb “60 Watt equivalent G18-1/2 White” included, max 60 watt bulb.
