These were once gas lamps but were converted to electric later. Each turns on & off via pull chain and they work perfectly. The lamp shade is a pierced metal (possibly steel, tin, copper) and the stand is made of iron. They are sturdy. The total height is 6 feet. Perfect for a traditional, gothic, or castlecore abode.
