A striking Spanish iron floor lamp from the 1950s, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and sculptural form. Standing 59 inches high with a 16-inch-wide base, the lamp features a double-twisted central stem accented with square dividers, rising from an elegant arched tripod base terminating in stylized claw feet. A decorative ruffled-edge bobeche beneath the socket provides a refined finishing touch, its slight natural warp adding character and authenticity. The hand-applied matte black finish reveals subtle traces of gilt beneath, creating a richly layered patina with natural variations and wear that enhance its vintage appeal. The combination of bold architectural lines and artisanal detailing makes this an exceptional example of mid-century Spanish ironwork. Recently professionally rewired, the lamp is fitted with a high-quality double-cluster socket and a black silk-wrapped cord. It remains in very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. Shade not included. Photographed with an 11-inch-high shade measuring 14.5 inches across the top and 18.5 inches across the bottom.
