The base is the part that strikes and intrigues the observer, due to the presence of thin lateral disks that poke out from the rim like little feet, giving the lamp an anthropomorphic aspect.Bedin has suggested that the love of the bright, warm colors utilized in her creations comes from her personal history. In particular, the Mediterranean identity of the French designer is the characteristic that immediately brought her closer to the Memphis group, through the use of outlandish colors and unique juxtapositions.
