This sculptural floor lamp, model e1770, was designed by svend aage holm-sørensen for asea, sweden, in the 1950s. The lamp features a black lacquered metal frame with an elegant, angular silhouette and a conical shade that offers focused directional lighting. A distinctive wrapped cane handle provides both a tactile and visual accent. The triangular wire-frame base adds to its airy and minimalist presence. This piece is labeled and represents classic scandinavian mid-century modern lighting design at its best. The aluminum shade has one screw fitting, size e27/ 28. Also the shade is adjustable in angle. this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
