Originally designed in 1952, this piece presented a sharp contrast to the bulkier Italian designs that were popular at the time. Crafted of lacquered aluminum, this fixture’s clean and slender lines evoke the look of a delicate stick insect in motion. Its short legs clasp onto the ground aggressively, while its three arms above are spread in every direction. Brass joints allow the bowl-shaped shades to be positioned as needed, further accentuating its animal-like character.
