This line of VASUKA models are the first designs of Studio Orbeat developed with recycled materials and start a whole family of pieces to be released very soon that they will use paper as a leading material.In addition to paper, the VASUKA II uses other materials such as recycled polished bronze for the base, transparent acrylic and wood. Its lighting is with warm LED light. Studio Orbeat is a uni-personal product design office founded in 2007 in Lima, Peru by Peruvian architect and musician Luis Ortiz de Zevallos Lainez (Lima, 1977).The studio began as a creative space for the conception of illuminated pieces worked almost handmade. Over the years, he advanced toward the creation of other objects designed for interior spaces such as chairs, tables and other artifacts that make up a solid body of author work.Today, Studio Orbeat is a studio that maintains the same essence of its beginnings, but currently works in collaboration with other designers and decorators, mainly in interior design projects.Studio Orbeat products are mostly disarmable and allow the user to interact with them.
