Craft a memorable indoor character with the clever curves and contrasts of the VL Studio Floor/Table Lamp from Louis Poulsen. A Vilhelm Lauritzen produced in Denmark, it brings smooth modernity to its surroundings, starting with a half-sphere housing for its inset LED lamping, focusing the glare outward into a hemispherical diffuser shade of hand-blown, three-layer opal glass. This smooth, translucent surface adroitly diffuses direct glare, transforming it into a pleasing warmth whether placed on a work surface or set on the floor in a convenient corner. It takes inspiration from a lamp designed for Radiohuset, the Danish Broadcasting Corporation headquarters in the 1940s.
