A rare example of early 20th century wicker woven floor lamps, this one has a base which is a large vase or even an umbrella stand. Both the wicker base and the wicker shade are openly woven. There is a metal insert for water should you insert flowers or to protect the wicker should you use it as an umbrella stand. (Seen in The Complete Wicker Book pg 69 and page 29 of Collectors Guide to American Wicker Furniture by Richard Saunders.)
