Designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, the sconce riffs on the archetypal reading lamp, swapping brass and fabric for light polyurethane and polycarbonate to keep the silhouette crisp and weightless. Switch it on and the glossy shade fills with an even, glare-free glow that’s ideal beside a headboard or flanking a hallway mirror. In matte white, Birdie blends quietly into plaster; in smoky gray it turns into a graphic accent that doubles as ambient art.
