The 'Mangrovia' lamp, consists of 18 tubes. Every tube is bent, cut, welded and highly polished by hand. We wanted to recall the oversized roots of this tree and therefore created an oversized lamp. The stainless steel is shaped in order to achieve the organic form of the roots.Source of illumination: Three halogen or LED or Edison filament light bulbs, dimmable, wiring for US and European market available. The structure the “roots” of the floor lamp are made of mirror polished stainless steel colored gold via a particular procedure. The floor lamp is composed of tubes of various diameters, the lampshade is made of pure linen, available in both colors, white or black.Dimensions: D 98 x H210 cm. Limited Edition of 15.Each floor lamp is hand signed and numbered by the artists (engraved), 100% handmade in Italy and comes with a “Certificate of Authenticity”.The inspiration for 'Mangrovia' lamp came from the observation of the winded and beautiful roots of the Mangrove trees which grow along the Amazonas.
