They are helpful as tools to give our minds structure but what happens when they become dictators of our existence? Can we become prisoners of it? We humans base our life on the concept of time, but we tend to forget that is just that... a concept. It has a psychological impact, but it's not fundamental. Change is a constant act and we use time to have a register of it. We believe our existence is dictated by the arrows of time, that a series of events as past, present and future goes in line... but, is there a possibility of all events been happening in the same moment? Designer's biographyTreko concrete is a Mexican studio based in Ensenada, that has as a purpose to create functional handcrafted furniture and sculptural pieces to tell stories with art and design. With the direction of Andres Monnier, Treko concrete now creates handmade fire pits, art objects, and functional furniture with natural stone, mirror, concrete, wood, and metal. Treko works with different techniques and languages of creation to innovate new purposes in conventional furniture.
