The project explores colour, visual perception, chromatic interaction, and the geometry of the square, giving life to surfaces that visually change depending on light, compositional rhythm, and surrounding context. The collection is defined by an in-depth exploration of chromatic vibrations, achieved through layers of glazes and translucent washes that create dynamic, ever-changing visual effects. The contrast between matte and glossy surfaces recalls traditional ceramic techniques, reinterpreted in a contemporary key through advanced production technologies. Born from the collaboration between Mutina and The Josef & Anni Albers Foundation and presented during Milan Design Week 2026, the collection combines artistic research, innovation, and sustainability. The surfaces are free from V.O.C. and represent the encounter between ceramic craftsmanship and industrial production.
