High quality modern thick textured amber colored glass light. Manufactured around circa 1960 in Germany, in the DDR-period. Measures: Diameter 9.84" (25cm). Each flush mount features a huge round glass dish. Can also work for impressive wall lights. The crystal glass refracts the light beautifully, filling a room with a soft, warm glow. with a black backplate and mounting hardware. The light requires two E27 screw fit light bulbs (40Watt Max. per bulb). In very good condition. Cleaned well-wired and ready to use. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
