This ceiling or wall lamp features a disc-shaped reflector in sheet metal with a radial pleating. In the centre, screwed to the metal ring nut, is an opaline printed glass cocoon holding the light source. With the Plissé lamp, Castiglioni experimented with the effects of light on masonry surfaces, explicitly underlining the generating element of chiaroscuro effects.
