Extremely rare chance to purchase one of a total of sixteen vintage Mid-Century Modern Carlo Nason for AVM Mazzega wall sconces or ceiling lights, circa 1970s. Beautiful Italian Murano glass flush mount ceiling lamps or wall lights, each consisting of four individual handmade glass panels which interlock and are held in place on a white painted steel base with four screws. Extremely rare to find a pair in this blue colour - much more common are either the clear/white foam glass or clear/smoked toned glass versions. Occasionally you might find the clear/green glass versions and, if you are extremely lucky, you might even find the clear/purple glass ones, but we have NEVER seen these clear/blue versions before.Because of their hollow steel frames - they can be mounted in any way you please - they can be linked together to create any pattern or shape you wish. You could build a tiered construction to layer the lights to give the impressions of a ceiling hung cascading pendant light or chandelier. Perfect as bedside table or nightstand lamps as well as for the ceiling or wall.The lights measure 20 cm tall by 18 wide by 18 cm deep.Each lamp requires a single E14 light bulb (60 watt max).
