The white ceiling paint on the perimeter of the canopy adds that special touch of "patina," no? The acid-etched antique shade has a lovely design on it, as you can see. Perhaps there's some iridescence, hard to tell. No visible chips. Of course the orange look when lit is strictly the result of the incandescent bulb. There will be no color. The shade is probably a little older than the mount. You'll need an adjustable strap to mount it, available at our "better" hardware stores. Dimensions: 9 inches top to bottom.
