One of a pair of vintage Mid-Century Modern flush mount wall lights or sconces by Peill & Putzler in the 1970s. This is an absolutely classic piece of German design, featuring a clear glass globe shade with a waved/ribbed molded bubble form similar to designs by Carlo Nason for Murano glass manufacturer Mazzega in the 1960s and 70s, casting a beautiful rippled light across a wall or ceiling. With its biomorphic, futuristic shape which echoes that of the Space Age race of that era the light looks great paired with any items made of acrylic or items with bold "Space Age" forms. Two available - priced individually.Newly rewired to EU standards (240Volts) & should also work on US standards (120Volts) - each light requires a single E27 screw fit light bulb (150Watt max).We have matching pendants in various sizes available - just visit our 1stdibs store for more information.
