A stunning French Art Deco flush mount that can be turned into a semi pendant chandelier was created in the 1930s by " Marius Ernest Sabino " (1878-1961). The glass shade is enhanced by a typical French Art Deco streamlined, geometric motif in frosted with polished details. In great condition, modest wear commensurate with age. The shade is marked SABINO PARIS 5617. The glass shade is mounted by a frameless bracket in silvered bronze. The fixture was re wired to U.S. standards which accommodate one household bulb E-26 standard (200 watts max each bulb).
