Kalmar Tulipan Flush Mount Light, 1960s, 1 Of 2

One of two beautiful 'Tulipan' flush mount lights or chandeliers by Kalmar Austria, manufactured in Mid-Century, circa 1970 (late 1960s or early 1970s). The name Tulipan derives from the tulip shaped hand blown bubble glasses. Each glass is handmade and therefore a unique piece. In total there are 24 glasses which are mounted with brass screws on a white enameled metal frame.Kalmar had cooperation with several Italian glass makers located in Murano (e.g. Mazzega, Venini) and got the glasses from there.Each chandelier takes one medium or standard screw base bulb.Light bulbs are not included. It is possible to install this fixture in all countries (US, UK, Europe, Asia, Canada,) although it may be necessary to purchase different light bulbs suitable to local electricity. They also can be used with a dimmer.The lamps have been refurbished and professionally cleaned. They are in excellent condition and ready to use.The pirce is per light.
