Knit-Wit Flushmount

The Knit-Wit Flushmount from Made by Hand offers a soft, modern approach to overhead lighting. Designed by Iskos-Berlin—the creative team of Boris Berlin and Aleksej Iskos—this fixture features a tall, rounded shade suspended from a simple disc canopy. A ribbed internal frame is wrapped in a 3D-knitted, flame-retardant polyester material, creating a textured surface that diffuses light evenly. The open-knit design channels the light within into an even glow while subtly setting off the lamp’s intricate inner structure, adding a light, organic character to contemporary ceilings.
