Mid-century ceiling light from Finland. The manufacturer is unfortunately unknown, but it is reminiscent of the functional designs of Paavo Tynell for Taito and Idman. A minimalist design. The light body consists of two elements: the base and the opal glass diffuser. The base is nickel-plated brass and displays a wonderful patina. The glass cover is held in place by four screws. The light is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina. It was polished by a craftsman, and the electrical system was professionally replaced.
