Rare ceiling/wall lamp, model no. 155, designed by Gino Sarfatti for Arteluce in 1950. Gino Sarfatti is undoubtedly one of the most important lighting designers of the 20th century and worked closely with Arteluce in the mid-1950s. His minimalist designs significantly influenced Italian design of the 1950s and 60s. The lamp is in its original condition, and its unrestored state and patina make it incredibly authentic. White lacquered aluminum reflector with an anodized brass rim, - Mushroom-shaped brass shade with symmetrically arranged holes, which together with the reflector shade create a very beautiful indirect light.
