The Tropico LED Wall / Flushmount from FontanaArte is a flattened spherical cap of opaque opaline glass, fixed in place by a large mirrored metal boss that draws the eye to the centre of the piece. Gabriele and Oscar Buratti developed it as part of a broader investigation into the shape of light, a theme that connects Tropico to the wider Equatore family of lamps. The etched opaline glass diffuses light evenly, while the gold-nickel-plated metal frame adds a refined material contrast, and the light output can be adjusted with a dimmer.
