An exceptional 'Tulipan' flushmount chandelier by J.T. Kalmar, Austria, Vienna, manufactured in the midcentury, circa 1970 (late 1960s-early 1970s). with beautiful Murano Tulipan shaped hand blown bubble glasses. Several glasses are mounted with brass bolts on a white enameled metal frame. Dimensions: Height circa 13.78 in. x diameter circa 19.69 in. In very good vintage condition. Cleaned well wired and ready to use. with new rod and canopy. Kalmar had a cooperation with several Italian glass makers located in Murano (e.g. Mazzega, Venini) and got the glasses from there. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
