19th century Dutch oak carriage table which has a central carved medallion on the top, surrounded by ebonized banding and a bevelled edge. The base is comprised of three legs, the single which swings in flat and the tabletop tilts to completely flatten the table for transport. These were very popular in the 19th century, as carriages were a main mode of transportation, and they weren't very spacious. The legs are fluted and ebonized for contrast and follow down to turnings. The measurements when folded up are 28.5 W x 3 D x 45 H.
