This is a Late 1700s Antique Baroque Footstool with Scroll Feet and Dark Wood that is most probably Mahogany with Gilded Gold Leaf Accents and Needlepoint Top that is in Very Nice all Original Finish and the Needlepoint Top is Very Nice Also. This is a Beautiful Ornate Piece and would to well in a Formal Sitting
