One of the earliest designs by Dimitri Omersa. He entered the donkey in the 1963 California State Fair and won a Gold Medal. This and other animal designs caught the eye of Abercrombie & Fitch and became a part of their catalogue from the mid 60’s on into the 80’s. It is actually a foot rest by design but I would use it as a sculptural piece of art. It has a metal frame inside making it durable. Made in England, stamped underfoot. In very nice vintage condition. Approx 25" x 9" x 18"
