19th century French oak footstool from the Breton region of France. The top has been newly upholstered in linen and finished with a single welt. The frame of the footstool has wonderfully detailed and routed rails, joined by simple hand turned spindles. The footstool is supported on hand turned feet. Such a lovely little stool for any place in the home or office.
