An unusual Victorian gothic oak footrest/stool made by James Shoolbred of London. Circa 1880. Maker's label. The footrest has shaped ends with pierced decoration, and scrolled sides to the main end. It is in very good condition and has been cleaned and waxed. There are some light signs of use, with the rest having some marks as expected and a small knock to the corner of one of the scrolls, please refer to the photographs. Sturdy with no loose joints.
