Lovely woven floral tapestry footstool. This is a nice antique piece with original parts. Reminiscent of the Victorian period with carvings and curves, the piece looks to be from the late 1800 to early 1900's. The fabric is in excellent condition, as well as the cushion and spring to the seat. The wood casters work well, with a little natural scuffing. The cherry wood frame shows some wear on the corners and minor scratches on the sides from normal use. Joinery in excellent condition, sturdy, and solid still. This spring, cushioned footstool is higher than most small stools making it more comfortable to rest weary legs or sit on to tie shoes.
