Fully restored hand dyed brown leather Antique Chesterfield footstools which were specially made to work with Wingback armchairs. A very good looking and well-made pair of stools, they are based on a Regency design which dates back to circa 1810-1820 however these were made in circa 1880-1900 They have been upholstered with high grade premium cattle hide leather which has been hand dyed this lovely rich cigar brown colour, the leather is held in place with antique hand hammered studs and is finished with ornately carved frames The upholstery has been fully restored, it was lightly washed back then hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed, waxed down and polished, this glorious colour which is exclusive to my leather polishers, you will never see another pair of stools anywhere in the world with this finish Dimensions Height:- 20cm Width:- 36.5cm Depth:- 26cm This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
