The cascading water gently flows from tier to tier into the basin below where it is recirculated through via the included submersible pump that utilizes the sun's energy. When the solar panel is in direct sunlight, the pump will be powered by solar energy and the battery pack will recharge. Once fully charged, the battery will power the fountain for up to 4 hours.
