Sculptural koi fish fountain executed in solid copper with naturally developed verdigris patina. The form features a dynamically modeled head with open mouth (designed as a water outlet), articulated fins, and a flowing tail, creating a strong sense of movement and presence. This sculpture was removed from an outdoor fountain at the personal residence of sculptor Brian Cohen (1925–2020) in Westwood, Los Angeles, where it had been installed and used as a functional water feature. Interior construction, water outlet, and mounting points are consistent with a purpose-built fountain sculpture. The piece is attributed to Brian Cohen based on provenance, location of installation, and stylistic consistency. No signature has been located. Dimensions: Approx. H 15 in × W 19 in × D 23 in (Measurements are approximate.)
