A scaled-down version of our original dome for cake plate, this medium sized design provides cover for everything from fruit tarts to artisan cheeses – keeping pesky pests at bay during outdoor feasts. Like all of our Hartland globe-and-stem designs, this cake stand dome is made by a duo of master glassblowers working in tandem. Pairs perfectly with Hartland Cakeplate. At Simon Pearce, fine glassware is still hand-blown in the traditional style. Simon Pearce opened his first glassblowing shop in 1971 in Kilkenny, Ireland. Ten years later, the factory was moved to Quechee, Vermont, where it remains today. The Ottauquechee River provides clean, hydroelectric power for the facility.
